With the lack of creative bus shelters in the area, this design was for a bus shelter competition in 2002 but then redeveloped a bit and entered into another competition in 2008. The idea was to have a caccoon type structure that was in modules so there could be a shelter regardless on the site location size. The design then developed into a full set of construction drawings which would include custom tube bending and cnc machined parts. The exterior covering would be a poly carbonate type material or a possible canvas with a few additional parts. The main structure would be formed from aluminum and finished by either paint or powder coating.
